Owner & DVM
I grew up on a ranch west of Melville, MT that has been in my family since 1893. After leaving home, I continued my education with college at Montana State University, veterinary school at Washington State University and an internship in Large Animal Medicine at Texas A&M University. After that I worked at Harlowton Veterinary Clinic for two years before starting Crazy Mountain Veterinary Service. It has been a joy for me to see Crazy Mountain Veterinary Service grow from me doing all the jobs to having a team of capable co-workers at various locations working together. Dividing the work among us all gives me time to do other things that I love: helping my husband, Jason Loose, on his ranch in Hobson; taking my boat to the lake; working on getting my private pilot’s license; an actual vacation now and then instead of just to go to conferences to get continuing education; working with the Montana Vet Med Association with a group called Power of Ten; and a governor appointed member of the Board of Veterinary Medicine.
